All Biofoam Insulations are water blown spray foam systems, they are produced from vegetable oil (castor oil) and polyols from recycled plastics. We manufacture our spray foams at our facility in Ireland. Carbon Footprint.Biofoam systems have the lowest carbon footprint of any other certified spray foam system in Europe. They are produced from bio-renewable and ecologically sustainable resources. Castor oil.Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the castor bean. It is typically used for pharmaceutical products, lubricants, biodiesel and packaging. Unlike Soy oil, Castor oil is not a food source. Polyols.the polyols used by Biofoam are produced from the recycling of plastics and other waste materials. |
