What is BioVent?
BioVent is a plastic spacer which is installed to new and retrofit felt roof's. It ensures a consistent ventilation to the underside of the felt. It prevents any disturbance of the felt during the installation of insulation materials and is waterproof. This ensures if the existing felt was to fail that water will not penetrate into the structure. BioVent acts like as a secondary roof within the existing roof structure. It is simply installed and secured to the rafters.
