Biofoam 800

Biofoam 800 is a open cell breathable soft spray foam insulation. It is designed specifically for use in domestic structures. It has the highest bio-renewable contents of any other spray foam on the market today.

Application areas:

• Attic Insulation / Loft Insulation
  Biofoam 800 is one of the highest preforming and most consistant insulations available. It is one of the highest preforming breathable spray foams on the market. Through its insulation values and the addition of Air-tightness and Acoustic properties it is one of the most effective insulations for attic and loft insulation.

• Dormer Insulation / Attic Conversion insulation
  Air leakage and air infiltration is one of the largest reasons for heat loss in dormers and attic conversions. Biofoam 800 expands 100 times its initial volume when applied. It will expand into any cracks or leakage areas eliminating air infiltration.

• Dry Lining
  Biofoam will fill and Dry lining fully eliminating cold spots and draughts. It will also provide greater acoustics and will not sag or settle.

• Suspended Floor Insulation
  Under floor draughts are one of the most common occurances with suspended floors. Biofoam 800 will seal the underside of the floor eliminating draughts and air infiltration.

• Noise Reduction / Acoustics
  Biofoam 800 has fantastic acoustic properties tue mainly to its cellular structure and its elimination of leakage areas. Sound can not flow freely through the foam, it is restricted and muffeled out as it passes through reducing the impace of the noise.

• Improving Air-tightness
  Biofoam 800 expands up to 100 times its initial volume on application, this results in the foam infiltrating any cracks and leakage areas in a structure filling them. This reduces the free flow of air through these areas providing significantly better air-tightness. and reducing heat loss

• Timber Frame insulation
The majority of new houses are installing Heat recovery units. Biofoam 800 is one of the best insulations to work in conjunction with HVAC units as it improves the efficeny of the unit through greater Air-tightness in comparisons to using board insulation. As Biofoam's do not break down or release any dust / allergens it will also improve air quality in a house compared to loose fill or quilt insulation.
